  • Is there a fee to enter Sandhill Fields?
    We do not charge an entrance fee. Private events do require a reservation fee and those events may have separate fees not associated to our facility.
  • What are your hours of operation?
    The complex will be open from dawn to dusk. Our gates will open and close accordingly. Please do not tamper with the automated gate.
  • Do you have restrooms?
    Yes. We have a men's and women's restroom facility centrally located to our soccer fields and pickleball courts.
  • Is any part of the complex ever closed?
    Yes. Please refer to our weather policy page to gain an understanding of closures. Our soccer fields may be closed due to field conditions or maintenance, yet our pickleball courts may remain open. The same can be said about our trails.
  • Are bikes permitted at Sandhill Fields?
    Unfortunately, no.
  • When should I reserve a field or court?
    If you are coming out to play with friends or family for recreational play a field/court a reservation is not needed. If you are looking for an organized game or event, exclusive to specific individuals or you are looking to profit from a business endeavor, a reservation is needed. Reserved events take priority over free field/court play. For rental information, please submit our reserve a space form.
  • Does Sandhill Fields host youth tournaments?
    Yes, we do. We are excited to have local and national teams compete at our facility. For rental information, please submit our reserve a space form.
  • Is there food available onsite?
    There is not a dedicated concession stand at our facility. We do have a dedicated are equipped with hook-ups for five food trucks and we can provide a list of preferred food truck companies. Food truck details will be included in the rental agreement.
  • I am unfamiliar with southern Delaware. What is there to do?
    Southern Delaware offers a wide variety activities for individuals of all ages. We encourage you to explore the Southern Delaware Tourism site.
  • Are pets permitted at Sandhill Fields?
    Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash. Please pick up any waste.
  • Do the fields have seating?
    We do not have seating. Bringing a chair is suggested.
  • What can I bring to Sandhill Fields?
    Please review our Rules and Regulations for a list of prohibited items.
  • Is there parking?
    Yes, we have parking.
